Did it and used the software installer. However nothing new shows
in /etc/yum.repos.d

Looking at it, the downloaded file, I notice a catalogue-file string
of /./etc/yum.repos.d/

Where has the file gone ?

In /root/.xsession-errors I noticed this (no date or time in the file):

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/sbin/system-install-packages", line 34, in ?
from rhpl.exception import installExceptionHandler
File "/usr/lib64/python2.4/site-packages/rhpl/exception.py", line 50,
in ?
from rhpl.translate import _
File "/usr/lib64/python2.4/site-packages/rhpl/translate.py", line 132
except IOError:
TabError: inconsistent use of tabs and spaces in indentation

Is it related ?

With best regards,
