Default dovecot problem -- not deleting messages from server after downloading them - SOLVED

I solved the problem by disabling SELinux. Not sure why that fixed it,
but it did make me dislike SELinux just a little bit more. LOL

That's hardly any kind of a solution.

Check your audit.log for AVCs and troubleshoot why they occur.

I hear what you're saying ... but, since I didn't want selinux running
anyway, it's a solution for me.
