system-config-network on 5.1

Looks like there are NO command line options on system-config-network.

Like -d eth0
or -d eth1

I used those alot when 2 network cards are in a box.

Can netconfig be brought back to life?
Can I just install the one from 5.0 on new boxes?

Upstream has effectively killed netconfig. See
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=383441, and also from the
5.1 upstream release notes:

#

pump is deprecated in this update. As such, configuring your network
interface through netconfig may result in broken ifcfg scripts.

To properly configure your network interface, use
system-config-network instead. Installing the updated
system-config-network package removes netconfig.

You can use the netconfig from 5.0, but it may break on your at some
point, and you'll have to exclude system-config-network from yum, as
updating it will remove netconfig.
