Thanks, 5% looks better to me -- surely more efficient use of the
space. But I look forward to seeing the 15px version.

In these cases what do we do:

1. Increase the header's top margin.
2. Reduce the header's bottom margin.

other suggestions ?

How much dark do you want it to be ?... the squares are grey now, with
a transparency of 0.654 over a white background.

Ok. We'll have something soon.

Errm. That will be about one square at the edges. Then you can leave it
out, having again a page which completely fills out the browser.

Which to me isn't visually appalling. It really *does* make sense in
terms of readability to *not* fill the complete browser width with text,
as narrower columns are easier and faster to read, because your eyes
don't get lost along the lines.

That's why newspapers and magazines put their text in columns (60 to 70
characters is what the maximum line length should be).

So I would vote against even changing it to 5% but rather leave it where
it is.

Can we then say that use 5% if width of window >=1000px ?
cause on less than that, you need to get pagedown twice before you get
to the main wiki content.

My thumbs up for the 1.7-27 version. I really like it.

The only thing I still woud like to see is the suggestion Karanbir is
to limit the width of the content for widescreen people. To wide does
not help readability.

Thanks for all your work !

Tim

My thumbs up for the 1.7-27 version. I really like it.

I like the softer tones and it toke a while to see the difference
between 1.7-26 & 1.7-27.

My vote goes to 1.7-26, I don't fancy lines in the margins in 1.7-27, it
is although discrete.

The only thing I still woud like to see is the suggestion Karanbir is

You can make your application with less instead for limiting the with
for 4:3 format. I do it all the time when i write documents in write, I
seldom have it in fullscreen mode.

Thanks for all your work !

Yes Alain, nice work.

Tim

I agree with 1.7-27-1

I think it more streamlined and clean.
