recent threads [1,2] regarding the broken PM function on the CentOS
fora, and see if the issue can be fixed?

Just wanted to keep this thread alive (not forgotten).
What is problematic is that, when you send a PM, you get no errors.
That is, the sender would think the message was successfully sent. And
of course PM is used to get notifications for new/modified posts by
many, so this is something that needs fixing ASAP.

should be working again, also i had a look at the code behind this - its
absurdly whacked out. Will change a few things and hopefully fix that
situation a bit ( so it does not need to download the entire userlist
before a msg can be posted )

Yes, not having to select from the whole usrlist would be great.
