Default wxgtk-2.9 removal?

Hi guys,

It seems a wxgtk2.9 has landed in community not too long ago, making my
package (wxgtk-2.9 in aur, https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=31421)
obsolete. However some aur packages depend on it, is it ok to delete it, or
should I wait until everybody has switched their dependencies to the
community package?

Thx in advance.

you could leave some comments for the packages depending on wxgtk-2.9 and
state they now should depend on wxgtk2.9. give them some time (a week, two
weeks) and then re-open this thread for deletion or wxgtk-2.9.

you could also opt for direct removal and just leave comments to depend on
wxgtk2.9.

the first is more nice

Default wxgtk-2.9 removal?

Hey again,

It's been two weeks now that I've notified every package maintainer using
the package https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=31421, though some
aren't active anymore. Can you delete the package now?

Thx in advance.
