Default New pacman-git release

I pushed a new pacman-git release (20080118) to its usual place
tonight for both architectures. Please test and report back (good or
bad!) on your findings. Think of this as a 3.1.1 RC candidate- it is
built from the current tip of the maint branch.

I'm having no problems with this version on i686. For those of you
that use makepkg more than I do, please try to give that a bit of a
