Default Script review in contrib/ (was: PKGBUILD and install file drafts for release)

If anyone wants to undertake this effort and go through these scripts
and check a few things:
1. They work
2. They are (mostly) distro-agnostic and path-agnostic
3. They are up to date

Then I will be glad to include them as part of my packaging duties
down the road.
