initscripts
klibc
klibc-udev
klibc-kbd
klibc-module-init-tools
klibc-extras
v86d

Any more related ones I forgot? Objections?

Just curious as to what changed - the arch-commits diff only lists a
change on the pkgrel.

I wasn't thinking straight when I first wrote this post_install, so the
one in -4 failed to create the /dev nodes from the installer. The one in
-5 is tested in the following two scenarios:


1)
mkdir -p /tmp/arch/{dev,var/lib/pacman}
pacman -r /tmp/arch -Sy udev

2)
mkdir -p /tmp/arch/{dev,var/lib/pacman}
mount --bind /dev /tmp/arch/dev
pacman -r /tmp/arch -Sy udev
umount /tmp/arch/dev

In both cases, /dev/{console,null,zero} are created properly, so moving
this package to core will not break our FTP installer.

Hi,

Just thought it might be a good idea to give this thread a bump.
Is there any reason for udev & co. not to be pushed into the Repos?
