No, I already had that one installed. I'm not sure how to tell which
codecs I do have installed, other than trying to install a package and
getting a message that I already have the latest version.

Good to hear. But I think I'll wait. If it didn't bring in libc6 or
libgcc or other things which look important, I might try it. I did that
once, getting some things from sid, which left me unable to compile
anything (like the all important iTetris!).
