Default System crash caused by fmit

Whenever I launch fmit, the system crashes (the monitor turns black and in a few seconds the user login screen appears).
It's the same if I launch jack first or if not. The error messages are the following:
Without jack:

Free Music Instrument Tuner version 0.97.6 built at Oct 20 2007 10:05:39
Install directory '/usr'
CaptureThread: INFO: Built in transports

CaptureThread: INFO:*** OK*** ALSA*** Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (lib:1.0.13)
CaptureThread: INFO:*** OK*** OSS*** Open Sound System (lib:30802)
fmit: Fatal IO error: client killed

With jack active:

I'm running 64studio 2.1 pre14 32 bit.

Best regards

Pablo

Hi Pablo,

I've tried, but I can't reproduce this problem on amd64. Is anyone else
having problems with fmit?

Cheers!

Daniel
