Hi

until now I couldn't find out how to change the comment for a new key
pair I generated some days ago, maybe this is impossible.

I tested to renew my expired key pair. I set the date of expiration from
2009/03/20 to unlimited and added a photoID.

I can sign and encrypt emails with this old key, but the ElGamal subkey
still expired at 2009/03/2009. Before I add a new subkey or leave it as
it is and upload the key to a keyserver, I wish to know if it's known,
that such a renew can cause troubles.

Anyway, I also have to search for the revoke code and generating a new
and good key pair isn't a problem. It's not that I need this key for the
future, it's just that I want to know more about this and I couldn't
find anything about it in the web.

Best,
Ralf

Resp., I couldn't find clear information or check how updated and
outdated some sources were.
