Default What's up to USB MIDI devices?

So that is something we have in common. We both are using an USB MIDI
device, _anything else differs completely_.

!!!

Is someone else using an USB MIDI device, but fine with Rosegarden or
any other MIDI sequencer using ALSA clients?

Cheers,
Ralf

I have a couple of Midisport USB MIDI interfaces (1x1 and 2x2). I don't
really use them anymore since my keyboard has a built in USB/Midi
interface (M-Audio Axiom 49). They have all worked for me under
64Studio and a stock Ubuntu. I have not used the midisport devices for
about a year.

I have used them to control synths (qsynth, qsampler, zynadsubfx etc.),
hydrogen. I have occasionally used them to capture notes into
Rosegarden, but I mostly use MIDI for live playing.

Hm, with my 32-bit hardware and 64 Studio 2.1 rc1 the USB device seems
not to be the cause for any problem. Now I also won't run into trouble
when playing live without running Rosegaden. A build in USB MIDI device
will use the same ALSA USB driver.

The USB devices seems not to be the cause, anyway, I will try to use
Rosegarden without using the USB device and take a look at the IRQs.
