After disabling the enabled repositories in synaptic it looks like that:

64studio:/home/spinymouse# cat /etc/apt/sources.list
# deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ etch main contrib non-free
# deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main
# deb http://apt.64studio.com/64studio/testing/ 64studio main
# deb-src http://apt.64studio.com/64studio/testing/ 64studio main
# deb http://apt.64studio.com/backports/ etch-backports main
# deb http://apt.harleystudio.co.za/ etch main

64studio:/home/spinymouse# cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/64studio.list
# Stable 64 Studio repository
# deb http://apt.64studio.com/64studio/stable/ 64studio main

# Debian etch
# deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ etch main contrib non-free

# Security updates
# deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main

# Bleeding edge 64 Studio repository, only for testers!
# deb http://apt.64studio.com/64studio/testing/ 64studio main

# Backports repository, needed to get -dev packages
# deb http://apt.64studio.com/backports/ etch-backports main

I think I have to delete the repositories in the sources.list, that are
also in the 64studio.list and that I than have to delete the # for the
needed repositories, maybe some "strange" empty lines have to be added.

Tapani can you please show your sources.list? Maybe this will solve the
troubles .

Cheers,
Ralf

If you are using lenny, you have to change the following repository:

deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ etch main contrib non-free

to

deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ lenny main contrib non-free

Then it should work fine...

Cheers,
Quentin

The Ardour 2.5 install guide has been updated to accommodate lenny users...
