Default At the hands of dave

If alsa-base is fine and you're sound devices are not all available or
ignoring the indexes, than you should try the following. I had troubles
because of the ATI graphics.

If someone else will run into similar troubles, this is what I did:

Completely removed the following packages:
alsa-base

Removed the following packages:
alsa-modules-2.6.21-1-multimedia-amd64

Reinstalled the following packages:
64studio (2.1)
64studio-apt (2.1)
64studio-skel (2.1)
64studio-themes (2.1)
64studio-utils (2.1)
alsa-firmware (1.0.15-1~etch1)
alsa-firmware-loaders (1.0.13-1)
backgrounds (0.2)
bootsplash-theme-64studio (0.3)

Commit Log for Tue Jul 1 16:35:57 2008


Installed the following packages:
alsa-base (1.0.16-1~etch1)
alsa-modules-2.6.21-1-multimedia-amd64 (1.0.17~hg080328-1+2.6.21-2)

Oops ... maybe this is irritating, maybe it's clear ... not "you're" but
"your". I try to keep back not to correct any mistake, but this might be
confusing, because the rest of my English might be to broken, to
understand this little typo.
