Follow-up: with jackd 0.103 in 64 Studio 2.1, Audacity 1.3.5 can't
connect to jack at all. I suggest we revert to Audacity 1.3.3 for the
2.1 release. That version worked fine for me with both ALSA and jackd.

That's weird, it doesn't seem to happen on i386.

Testers please would you report your experience using Audacity on 64
Studio bleeding edge?

1.3.5 on bleeding edge amd64... Jack is not available at all here

The issue seems amd64-specific then. I'm going to revert to version
1.3.4, as this is bug is blocking the 2.1 release.

Hi Free,

JACK does not show up in the Audacity 1.3.5 beta playback or recording
device options under settings. Playback worked with OSS using my onboard
sound connected to cheap computer speakers, which I don't use for
anything more than web surfing.

I do have JACK up and running. Closing Audacity did nothing to JACK.

I'm using jackd 0.103.0 from 64Studio 2.1 AMD 64.
