The move to Ubuntu sources has forced the issue: We need to remove
Canonical trademarks and replace with 64 Studio logo.

The logo is mature as it is, but we will need background art, splash
screens, themes, icons, sounds etc. to replace Ubuntu ones...

Maybe I am a bit impatient and you already know by yourself... sorry.
I just want to remind you, that on the 64Studio-beta3-installer the
Ubuntu-Logo is flashing up for just a few miliseconds in the beginning
of the boot.

And another thing, which is related to the branding issue but in fact
doesn't violate anyones marketing rights is: Before and after gdm you
can see the typical colours of Ubuntu - which fits perfectly to their
Desktop design, but just looks totally annoying with 64studios gdm-theme
and its desktop arts. Maybe you should change this to black - or the
grey the gdm-theme is using.

It's easily made: Just add "GraphicalThemedColor=#000000" in
/etc/gdm/gdm.conf-cutom in the [greeter] area to get a black backgroud.

Yep, that's a file called splash.rle, it's got to go. This is not
because we don't like giving credit to Ubuntu, it's because the
Canonical trademark policy is extremely restrictive.

Yep, that needs fixing, plus we need a new bootsplash setup. This will
be fixed by the time of the release candidates for 3.0 - my main
concerns for the betas are stability and performance.

The text when you login by SSH mentions Ubuntu. We also need to change the
ISO splash.rle image, which features the Ubuntu logo.
