The install is on its own disk,

The install is multi-partition,
/sda2/sda8/ (have other distros)

/hda7 (64s21i386uk)
/media/data (fat32)
/swap

I configured my fat32 data partition /media/data
in the partitioner during the install.

Clean install... Beautiful... :-)

Pentium 4 $ lspci $ lspci -n (same as install 1)
Same computer, different disk.

Using apt to install nvidia,
# apt-get update
# apt-cache search nvidia

*notes*: 64studio_2.1_i386_uk

I have installed 64studio_2.1_i386 mirrorservice.org image twice.

Install 1 has its own disk, with a ext3 data partition.
My ext3 data partition is auto configured.

Install 2 in a multi-partition environment with a fat32 data partition.
(multi-partition) grub finds other distros and configures menu.list.
/media/data/ (fat32) is read only, configure fstab to user.

I have spent some time with Ardour & rosegarden
First impressions = excellent release :-)

Great work as usual 64studio,

Thanks! :-)

dave.

It's the quality of feedback that we get, that helps us make smooth
installs :-)

Thanks mate!

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

You're welcome :-)
I know how much work and time you "all" put into 64studio,
You should all sit back, take a rest, and give each other a pat on the
back.
I know you "wont" sit back and rest ;-)
'A Minha Menina' reflects the quality I've come to expect from 64studio.
Congratulations on a fine release.

Cheers!

dave.
